Stuck inside? Here are some ideas.Click on the colored links throughout this newsletter to go directly to the Homeschool-by-Design page mentioned in the text.
Even in the mountains of NC, we don't get much snow, so our family has enjoyed the big snow we got over the weekend. Even if you aren't stuck inside day after day because of the weather, winter can cause a little touch of cabin fever because of the longer nights and cooler temps. It's great night to start the tradition of a family game night! Make some popcorn, hot chocolate, and dust off those old games after dinner instead of turning on the television. You may be surprised at how much fun you have. Tired of playing the same old things? Check out these fun educational games. Use your time inside to get your homeschool organized or research curriculum for next year. Remember, if you do online shopping with Amazon or Christian Book Distributors, please consider using the HBD shop links to these sites. Click here for a direct link to the HBD shopping page. Looking ahead to the spring, it's not too early to begin planning for your garden. Gardening with kids is a fun way to grow bodies and minds. Find out the benefits of gardening and ideas on how to start gardening with kids. Please feel free to forward this newsletter to anyone you think would be interested in Homeschool by Design! Best wishes!
