After the internet, your next stop for free homeschool curriculum is your local library. Smaller libraries have books and usually videos or DVD's that can be used to educate your child for free. Check to see if your library participates in the Inter Library Loan program. This allows you to request materials from other (often larger) libraries for free or for a very minimal cost to help cover the postage. Larger libraries often have curriculum programs and resource materials available for check out.

Your local homeschool support group may have a private library or used curriculum giveaway system. Our local group get good condition "discards" for public and private schools as well as individuals that are then made available to members of the group free of charge.
