A friendly reminder

Times are tight, but if you buy anything (not just homeschool supplies) from:

Amazon (even used)

Christian Book Distributors

Sonlight

All About Spelling

Please bookmark and use the HBD link to these sites before you make a purchase.
HBD Shopping page

Going through the HBD Shopping page (or any retailers link scattered through the site) earns me a small commission, only takes one or two extra clicks and doesnt cost you any more than going directly to the retailers site. As you know, my site it mostly informational and I have spent 100s of hours working on it as a labor of love for the homeschool community The only expense I have is web hosting fees. As my first year online comes to a close, I would be thrilled to have covered the hosting costs from last year. As of today, Im close.

If you have family and friends who order online, please feel free to forward this link.

I know its hard to remember to make that extra click, but anytime you do, know that it is appreciated and it helps support homeschoolers (and future homeschoolers) by providing information through the HBD website.

My Favorite Famous Homeschooler

I'm learning how to post some new things to RSS, so I figured I'd start with a Youtube video about my favorite famous homeschooler.

He has an amazing story...miracle baby, was homeschooled his whole life, played public high school football (thanks to a law in Florida that allowed homeschoolers to play), plays quarterback for the Florida Gators, won the Heisman trophy in 2007 (the first sophomore ever to win), was a front runner in 2008 and led the Gators to a National Championship. Most importantly, he is a young man with character. Click to go to my website, then find the line that says "click for more info" to see the video.
