The Tenth Amendment of the Constitution provides that powers not granted to the federal government nor prohibited to the states, are reserved to the states or the people. Homeschooling Laws - You should follow the laws of the state where you currently reside. Find out more about state laws. Homeschool Record Keeping - Most (but not all) states require some record keeping, sometimes it is extensive, sometimes it is minimal. Even if your state doesn't require you by law to keep records, you will want to develop a system for your personal use. This is especially true if you homeschool through high school and you child plans to attend college.
