We love,love,love Math-U-See here! My boys love playing with the manipulatives, they even use them like legos when we aren't doing math. The concepts are explained simply, and Mr. Demme explains everything very nicely on the DVD. The extra enrichment games are Great! My boys have learned it all very well, they love the skip count songs, blocks, and the games. Decimal Street is especially effective in teaching place value. I have used Primer, Alpha and Beta with my children and they both love it! The workbooks are plain black and white which I liked because it keeps them focused on the actual math and not the pretty pictures, my boys don't seem to mind the lack of color probably because the blocks are so colorful and they use them for nearly every lesson! I can't recommend this program enough it really makes math a simple, concrete, and visual experience. I think any child could learn well from this program, even if your child prefers color give it a try because the blocks really add something special to it. I also have had no problems reselling my used Teacher Packs as MUS is a very popular program with a high resale value, so it's a GREAT value for the money! I recommend you try it, I am sure you'll love it.
