Mystery of History

Our entire family LOVES the Mystery of History. I bought the CD set that goes with the book. Usually we listen to the lessons while we are in the car and then do the written lesson or activity later at home when we have time. The lessons combine 'Biblical History' with "Everyday History'. You do not find that in many history programs. So you learn what was going on in the world at the same of the stories in the Bible. The program is interesting enough to keep my kindergartener's attention, but yet has activities for high school students to challenge them. It is great with multi-level student families. This program is great for auditory, visual and hands on learners. There is something for everyone. It covers a great deal of material, but also leaves room for you to dig deeper into topics that really interest you and learn the basics of the ones that don't. It is completely reusable so it is cost effective. I highly recommend it. |
