Screen printing business

by Pam
(Texas)

My family, along with another, visited a screen printing business to see just how all those great t-shirts are made. As preparation for the trip, the owner had all the kids create a drawing to be placed on a shirt. A few days before our trip, he compiled these drawings into a design for our shirt.

When we arrived at the studio, the kids were walked through the process of screen printing, step-by-step. They began with turning their drawings into a computer-generated design and went through the entire process of picking out colors and printing and drying their own shirts. The kids had a faboulous time and wear their shirts proudly. As a bonus, the owner of the shop was generous to make this trip completely free for us.
